Now that you have a MAP Living Plan in place, the remainder of the mentor program will entail executing the plan and making adjustments based on the outcomes achieved. It’s important to keep in mind that everything you do has an impact on your well-being, ranging from positive to moderately positive, moderately negative, or negative. Therefore, as you and your mentor progress through the program, you will regularly reflect on your daily living and the activities outlined in your plan, connecting them back to their impact on your overall well-being.
It’s important to update your letter to self every month to track your progress and reflect on your growth in month 10-12. At the end of the 12-month mentorship program, you will email your final letter to yourself and keep a printed copy in a secure location so that you can revisit it after 20 years. Consider including photos of yourself, friends, and mentors during the plan execution to make it a more comprehensive time capsule of your progress. Your completed letter to self, along with the accompanying pictures, will serve as a time capsule of your journey.
